Punk meets disco and your ass is on the dance floor! The first long play from this very hyped (with a reason!) group with the name that'll have people scrathing their heads and beats that'll have people shakin' their ass until the last drop of sweat.
"Madonna is the second album released from rock band ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. It was released on October 19, 1999 by Merge Records. It expands upon the sound developed in the debut, with gigantic-sounding guitar-powered anthems. The first track is simply a sound collage that draws samples from radio noise to speak out the band's name."

This is one of the greatest records so far on the 21st century. German melancholic electronic masters Notwist join forces with intellectual hiphopsters Themselves. Amazing.
Abduktio's Combat Rock -debut is nothing short of jaw-dropping! A huge leap forward from their already impressive previous efforts. Expect to hear their Refused-esque new school hardcore find a lot of new and interesting dimensions.
Collection of remix-work by Anticon-producer extraordinaire Alias. Featuring revamps of songs by for example 13 & God, Lali Puna, The One AM Radio, Lunz, Sixtoo and Alias & Tarsier.
Melancholic, dramatic and simply breathtaking music created with the flawless co-operation with the Johnsons' orchestral backing of Antony Hegarty's virtuoso-playing of the grand piano and his unimitable voice with a vibrato that only Marc Bolan can match. This is music at its very finest!
A really cool compilation of the early partystarters by the greatest party band in the world! Put this on and people will be dancing upside-down in no time!
The sixth and - at least in this record clerk's humble opinion - greatest album by Glasgow's geekiest, Belle and Sebastian. Gone are the shoddy "production" and awkward performances of the previous records, but the amazing songs and razor sharply witty lyrics are still there!
The seventh album by Belle and Sebastian catches the band further pursuing the more professional and coherent path they set out on Catastrophe Waitress, thus alienating some of their most "hardcore" bedroom-aesthetics K-records-believer fans, but probably makes many new friends in more mainstream circles. Very well crafted pop-music.
