GENERAL

IF SOCIETY - we're on a mission, baby. We think there's a lot of music there that just doesn't get the attention it deserves and our goal is to do our part in the music community by spreading the music we love and that we can actually help. We do love Madonna as well, but she's got more suitable distribution channels at her disposal, so we'll let major stores handle her music. However we feel bands such as the ones whose music we sell make music that's just as important as Madonna's and we know we can help spread their message, so that's what we're here to do.

We're also music fans who feel that it's sometimes too hard to find the records we like in local Finnish shops, so we're trying to create the shop we'd like to buy our records from. A shop that shuns narrow-minded genre limitations, serves it's customers like people and does it's best to keep prices reasonable.

SELECTION

We are not a shop aimed to please everyone and anyone. We're a highly specialized shop that sells what the owners want it to sell so if you're wondering why we're not carrying a certain record, the reason might be that we just don't like it, but also it could be that we do not have the necessary channels to acquire it from. We're still quite keen on hearing from you what records you think we should stock, so drop us a line.

As for the accuracy of our online selection, we've worked very hard to perfect our logistic mechanisms to ensure that we always actually have what we list on the website, but as we have very limited storage space (and money), we can't stock too many copies of certain records. On the other hand we are not one of those online stores that just lists every record their suppliers have on their list, regardless of whether they can ship them or not. Our website lists what we actually have in our storage, most of the time.

Even so, sometimes accidentally we may list records that we do not actually stock at the moment. Should it happen that you order and pay a record we don't have, we will contact you as soon as possible and you will have the option of cancelling your whole order or parts of it or replace missing records with new ones and you will be completely refunded for the records you're not getting.

SHIPPING

If Society is run by two human beings. We work hard to ship all the orders we receive and 99% of the time we get everything right and on time. Please do however note the following:

• We ship orders a minimum of once a week. Usually more often.
• Sometimes we make humane errors or the postal service happens to lose packages. Seriously, this happens. Please don't wait 2 months to let us know you haven't received (except when ordering economy to the US as it takes ca. 6-8 weeks!) your order as that's rather embarrasing for us.
• If something is missing from your order, let us know at once.
• If there's something extra with your order, it's probably freebies we've thrown in. We're just that nice!

If you order by postiennakko (cash on delivery) in Finland and don't pick up your package, we don't like you and we will not ship stuff to you again, unless you beg forgiveness from us.

SECURITY

We will not under any circumstances give or sell any information provided to us to any third parties. Honest. Any credit card transactions are handled by PayPal and you can find all the necessary information on credit card privacy at the PayPal-website.
