A very special show in Helsinki
Hi!
We just confirmed a very very special show that takes place in Helsinki on Saturday, August 19th. The setting for this event is the Helsinki City Marathon which this year in addition to sports will host several stages of popular music by the running route. For one reason or another we'll be playing at one of these stages, that will be situated at Telakkakatu in Punavuori, near the corner of Merimiehenkatu. Check out this map to get an idea of the location, but if it helps, the place is right next to Nosturi.
Here's the schedule for that particular stage:
15:45 Viola
16.35 Passionworks
17.25 Lines of Leaving
18:15 Naked
What makes this particular show extra special is that we will be joined on stage with some rather uncommon guests. On keyboards we'll be helped by Päivi from TV-Resistori while bass-duties will be handled by none other than our enigmatic ex-bassist ESA, so all you Esa-fans out there, dig out those Esa-shirts from your closets and be sure to hit the streets of Punavuori on the 19th!
Incidentally this show will focus a bit more on Tearcandy-era songs, but we're definitely not forgetting ACSU or Melancholydisco either. Sadly we can't perform any new material yet, but trust me, we're very very eager to get some new material into the set as well!
