Peace and sweet contentment be your lot this happy yule-tide

We're just 7 weeks and 6 days away from ye olde feast of giving and sharing and having and receiving. Pere Noël is already packing his sleigh and the elves are already peeking through people's windows to see who's been good and who's been bad.

But guess what?! You've all been good! To wish you a very very merry christmas this year, we've finally come around to realizing our long-time dream of a christmas 7"-vinyl single. Oh yes, you read it and understood it correctly: A christmas 7"-single. These slices of our vinyl yule-log come with 2 songs of our very own material custom made for christmas use exclusively. The tracks are called 'Leaving Home On Christmas Eve' and 'Lost Christmas' and to make thing even better, the latter was even written on christmas eve, last year in Lieksa.

To make things even merrier, we left out the electric guitars and the pounding drums and instead concentrated on the softer aspects of life around christmas time. We had some very nice people help us by sharing their musical gift on some woodwinds and brass to liften the christmas spirit of this record sky high.

These little musical christmas cards are being sold between december 1st and 24th only and after that any possible leftover records will be shipped by elf-express to Korvatunturi for Santa Claus' personal storage and safe-keeping so that nobody will get their tardy hands on them until next christmas. Information on where and how to get them will follow later, but one thing is for sure: Santa has a special distribution deal with If Society.
