More info on our gear
- Drums
- 1 x 13" snare with pillowcase on it. Preferably miked top+btm since the top head only gives a rather dull "thud" when miked. SM57 or equivalent

- Ableton Live -based laptop setup with Focusrite Sapphire audio interface

- Ableton Live -based laptop setup with Focusrite Sapphire audio interface
- Backing tracks. 2 XLR outputs - mixed stereo track.
- Synth bass, 1 track with an XLR output
- Guitar
- Fender Princeton Chorus - a small combo. Miked with Shure SM-57 or similar.
- Keyboards
- Two mono keyboards. One stage front, one with drums. The one with the drums has an XLR output, the other one needs a DI.
- Vocal
- Monitors
- Preferably 1 monitor for each of the 2 musicians. Preferably something with a bit of bass for the drum monitor.
- We sometimes also have a bass amp by the drums for monitoring purposes, but it will be mostly for synth bass and kick and it's input is controlled from the stage.
Stageplan
Both musicians will be set up stage front, like this:
Front of house
---------------
DRUMS | GTR+VOC
Preferred channel list:
- Kick
- Snare top
- Snare btm
- Elec. drums L
- Elec. drums R
- Overhead left
- Overhead right
- Guitar
- Keyboard Riku
- Keyboard Tommi
- Backing track L
- Backing track R
- Synth bass
- Vocals Riku
When channels are sparse, these can be eliminated in this order (if venue size allows): overheads, snare btm, snare top, guitar. All other channels are 100% necessary.
Visuals
We bring our own projector + laptop, but we need something to project on, although if there is some sort of house projector with a possible VGA-connection accessible to the stage, we'd much rather use it. The visuals-laptop is by the drums.
